This house was such a great find! It was in great condition, it just needed some updating. We were lucky that there were original hardwoods under the carpet, we added reclaimed hardwoods to the entry, den and kitchen, and then refinished them all to match. The entry was opened up, as well as the kitchen. We turned the built-in office area into a great bar/serving area and added our hand-cut mirrored subway tile. The kitchen painted our signature

green really popped against the white cabinets and trim. There was a separate dressing area (common in many of the homes in the area) that was perfectly converted to a half bath. Granite was added to the kitchen and baths. This house is where we started using the wallpapered accent wall, which is now one of our signatures. This remains one of Casey’s favorites. It was sold at the highest price per square foot in the area at the time.

We take many risks, and it pays off, for example the wallpaper accent wall.
