I really loved the way the original yellow tile looked with the new color palette.

This was another house already in great shape with original hardwoods. We refinished the floors and applied a dark stain. Both entrances to the kitchen were opened, and we added cabinetry to what was the breakfast area. New granite counters created an eat-at bar. We kept the original yellow tile in the hall bath and accented it with gray (a big color trend at the time). Moving the laundry from the master bedroom to a closet in the den made space for a huge walk-in closet. The master bath got a modern facelift with white tile and a super cute contemporary sink. Of course the interior and exterior were painted in the BG color palette. Again, this one was sold at the highest price per square foot at the time.
